In 2016, Steve Dorman and Toby Kline from The Hills Cider Company teamed up with Sacha to take 78 Degrees Distillery to the next level. Their goal was to broaden the product range and improve production capabilities.
By December 2018, 78 Degrees Distillery had found a new home. They now share a space with Mismatch Brewing Co, The Hills Cider Company, Vinteloper & Ashton Valley Fresh at the Lot 100 site. This state-of-the-art location incorporates a distillery, restaurant, and plenty of room for expansion and utilizing the surrounding land.
As 78 Degrees Distillery continues to explore, conduct research, and incorporate uniquely Australian botanicals, their product lineup has grown to include an exciting variety of gins, vermouths, aperitifs, and Australian Whiskey. With numerous awards and recognition under their belt, 78 Degrees is constantly pushing the boundaries and setting the standard for craft spirits, all while showcasing the distinct Australian touch.
